We’re Building a Standard, Not a Directory
Kitchens By Remote is building a selective certified installer network — market by market, one earned reputation at a time. If you take pride in a finished kitchen and you’re tired of bidding wars and lead-selling platforms, keep reading.
What This Is
Kitchens By Remote is an online cabinet design and sales company serving customers nationwide. We handle design, product selection, ordering, and project support. Installation is handled by local installers our customers hire directly.
We’re not Angi, HomeAdvisor, or Thumbtack. There’s no bidding circus, no pay-per-lead, and no race to the bottom. When a customer in your area is ready for installation, we refer them to installers we’ve personally vetted against a real standard — a standard built by someone with 30 years in this industry, not a review-farming algorithm.
What you get: a referral source that sends you customers who already have a complete design, a full cabinet list, and clear expectations before they ever call you. No tire kickers.
How It Works: Provisional, Certified, Elite
Nobody starts at the top. Here’s how it works:
Provisional Partner — you’ve passed our document check and our screening interview. We can begin referring you, with the homeowner told plainly that you’re new to the KBR network.
Certified Installer — you’ve completed at least one KBR-referred project, passed the homeowner completion checklist clean, and communicated professionally throughout. This is where most of our active partners live.
Elite Partner — five or more completed KBR projects, strong homeowner feedback, no unresolved issues, and a track record of solving field problems without drama. This tier is earned, not applied for.
Certification is based on performance, not paperwork. We think that’s the only way this means anything — to you, or to the homeowner trusting the name.
Not Negotiable
- You’re licensed in the state where you perform work, where licensing is required.
- You carry general liability insurance and can produce a COI on request.
- You have direct, hands-on experience with RTA or pre-assembled frameless cabinets, not just face-frame construction.
- You do the work yourself or directly supervise your crew — no undisclosed subcontracting.
- You can provide at least three references from cabinet installation projects in the last 24 months.
- You can show photos of completed installs, including finished crown molding and light rail.
- You respond to a KBR-referred customer within one business day.
If you can’t meet all of these today, we’re not the right fit right now. Come back when you can — we’d rather wait than lower the bar.
Where We’re Currently Building
We’re deliberately building this market by market instead of trying to cover all 50 states at once. Quality has to come before coverage — one bad certified installer hurts every homeowner who trusts the name.
Currently accepting applications in: Arizona, and expanding into additional states as the network grows.
If you’re outside our current markets and want to be considered as we expand, apply anyway. We keep every qualified application on file.
Tell Us About Your Work
Every application is reviewed personally — not by an algorithm. If you’re a fit, we’ll follow up within five business days to schedule a short screening conversation.
We review every application personally and follow up within five business days. Submitting an application doesn’t guarantee placement — every installer who joins the network passes our screening and earns certified status through actual completed work.

Installers approved through this application are independent contractors, not employees or subcontractors of Kitchens By Remote Co. Tier designations (Provisional, Certified, Elite) reflect KBR’s internal vetting and performance standards.
