The Kitchen You Love Deserves an Installer You Can Trust
Kitchens By Remote handles design, product selection, and delivery. Installation is handled by an installer vetted against the KBR Certified Installer standard — a real standard, not just a name off a search result.
Certified Means Something
Anyone can hand you a list of contractors. We built something different. Every installer we work with is screened against a standard covering licensing, insurance, cabinet-specific experience, and how they actually think through a real job site problem — before they’re ever put in front of you. They commit to installing the KBR way, which means proper receiving and acclimation, correct sequencing, careful scribing, a clean jobsite, and a final walkthrough with you before they call it done.
You hire your installer directly. You control the schedule and the price. What KBR adds is the confidence that the person walking into your home has already been checked out by someone who’s spent 30 years in this industry and knows exactly what separates a real cabinet installer from a guy who says he does cabinets too.
Not Every Contractor Is a Cabinet Installer
Most general remodelers and even skilled carpenters have limited experience with RTA and pre-assembled frameless cabinets. The sequencing, the leveling discipline on a long run, the scribing against walls that are never truly plumb — these are specific skills, and most local crews learned on face-frame stick-built cabinets, not the product you’re buying.
Every KBR Certified Installer has demonstrated:
Direct, hands-on experience with RTA or frameless cabinet installation, not just general carpentry.
A licensed, insured business that can produce documentation on request.
The ability to talk through real field problems — an out-of-level floor, a filler cut wrong, a damaged box — without guessing or panicking.
A finished-kitchen portfolio that includes crown molding and light rail, not just cabinet boxes hung on a wall.
If you’re vetting your own installer outside our network, ask these same questions. Any installer worth hiring will have straight answers.
Every Job Ends With an Inspection, Not a Guess
When your installation is complete, you and your installer walk through a KBR Homeowner Completion Checklist together. It covers door alignment, filler scribes, reveal consistency, hinge adjustment, drawer alignment, toe kick, caulk, and cleanup. You both sign it.
That means when your kitchen is done, it isn’t “looks okay to me.” It passed inspection. That checklist also becomes part of your installer’s record with us — the good ones build a track record, and it shows.
You’re Not Doing This Alone
When you order through Kitchens By Remote, you have direct access to me — Steve Eisenmenger, owner and designer — through every stage of your project, including installation. If you want me to review a bid, I will. If something looks off mid-install, send me photos and I’ll tell you what I see.
This is what 30 years in the cabinet industry looks like when it’s working for you instead of for a showroom.

Currently Building Certified Coverage In Select Markets
Kitchens By Remote sells cabinets nationwide. Our Certified Installer standard is being rolled out market by market, because quality has to come before coverage. A single bad certified installer would hurt every homeowner who trusts that name — so we’re building this the right way, one market at a time.
Currently building certified coverage in: Arizona, and Nebraska, and expanding.
If we don’t yet have a Certified Installer in your area, I’ll personally help you vet a local installer using the same standard, free of charge, as part of your design consultation.
We’re Not Looking for Bidders. We’re Looking for Craftsmen.
Kitchens By Remote is building a selective partner network for cabinet installers who take pride in a finished kitchen. This isn’t Angi, HomeAdvisor, or a lead-buying platform. We don’t run a bidding circus and we don’t sell leads to the lowest bidder.
We send our certified partners educated customers — homeowners who already have a complete design, a full cabinet list, and clear expectations. No tire kickers, no price shoppers still deciding what they want. Just kitchens ready to be built.
If you know your way around frameless and RTA construction, carry proper insurance, and want to be associated with a higher standard, we want to hear from you.
Kitchens By Remote helps connect homeowners with vetted independent installers. Installers are independent contractors, not KBR employees. The homeowner hires and pays the installer directly. KBR Certified, Provisional, and Elite designations reflect KBR’s own vetting standards and are disclosed as such.
